300 gr shallots
200 gr of garlic
2 knuckles turmeric
2 candlenuts
1 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp salt
200 ml cooking oil
1 bay leaf
2 pieces of lime leaves
1 stalk of bruised lemongrass
1 bruised galangal segment
How to make :
1. Prepare all the ingredients needed then wash thoroughly.
2. Grind the shallots, garlic, candlenuts, pepper, and salt until completely smooth. Puree by adding cooking oil.
3. Heat the pan and add the finely chopped spices without adding more oil.
4. Add bay leaves, lime leaves, lemongrass, and galangal. Then stir-fry over low heat until the aroma comes out and the color turns pale and cooked.
5. Remove the cooked spices and wait until it cools down. Next, put the spices into an airtight jar, close the jar tightly and put it in the refrigerator.
6. The yellow seasoning is ready to use everyday. Don’t forget to close the meeting after use.
